The design of the pendant is inspired by the cartouches depicted on ancient monuments. Taken as a symbol of strength in antiquity until today, the representation of the lion also serves as a "guardian", of temples or important places. It is surrounded by two sea horses.
This necklace is made of vermeil. It is 925 silver covered with 18 carat gold at a height of 5 microns, which is the highest thickness of gold in jewelry. Thisprovidesa long-lasting and durable shine.
Each side of the pendant features the same design, applied in reverse so that it is always the right way up when worn.
